The observed inadequacies of the Nigerian products, ranging from poor leather tanning, lack of skilled manpower capacity, products finishing, among others, have been handled from our various foreign industrial capacity training in the sector and intervention programmes from Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP), Abuja Enterprises Agency(AEA) and Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC).
